Co-creating design and sustainable furniture for students
#Our responsible approach
The KLEY product team is constantly adapting the furniture in its accommodation to meet the needs of students and keep up with the latest design trends. To create a new bedside table that is more sustainable and eco-responsible, KLEY has teamed up with DIZY, a publisher of sustainable furniture. Made in France from metals processed in the Hauts-de-France region and wood from sustainably managed forests, the parts of the bedside table have been eco-designed to limit the carbon footprint. Made from raw materials that are 100% recyclable, with a refined design, this new bedside table is designed for use by students.
Over 230 trees planted by 2021!
KLEY and DIZY are committed to planting 1 tree for every 2 bedside tables manufactured, in French forests.
The 230 trees will be planted in the Chantilly forest in the Oise department, close to the château of the same name. With climate change accelerating, the forest is under severe strain.
The aim of this project is to preserve the Chantilly forest, adapt it to climate change, increase its biodiversity and meet the specific challenges of this tourist and heritage area.
By 2022, KLEY plans to double the number of trees planted!
